This Web Site was made possible through a grant from the
National Institute on Aging.
The purpose of this site is to educate people about Age-Related
Hearing Loss and to inform people about Assistive Listening
Devices that can improve an individual’s ability to
hear and communicate in difficult listening situations. These
difficult conditions include talking on the phone, watching
television, having a conversation with others, waking by an
alarm clock, or attending to the doorbell. Proper use of assistive

in daily activities.
